FAQ
Q.1 What types of documents are kept in the Reference Collection?
Ans. References collection mainly contains, encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, directories, atlases, audio, video and some rare collection.
Q.2 How can you distinguish reference books and Reserve books from other library collection?
Ans. Reference and Reserve books are marked "R" and “RT” on left-side top corner of the book.
Q.3 Can I get the reference books issued?
Ans. Reference books are issued to faculty only.
Q.4 What are the issue/return timings in the Library?
Ans. 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on all working days and 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 pm on Saturadys. No issue/return transactions on Sundays and Holidays.
Q.5 I have lost a book, what am I required to do?
Ans. Immediately declare the book as lost on prescribed application form. The latest procurement cost+20% will be intimated to you, to pay for the cost of book.
