Mission:

  • To impart world-class multi-dimensional comprehensive education in the integrated domain of communication and computer engineering.
  • To explore, expand and accelerate the growth and prospects of fundamental and high-level applied research.
  • To focus on the emerging confluent areas of smart hardware and software-based applications involving communication and computing.
  • To establish the department as a leading center of academic excellence, technology leadership and capabilities in multi-disciplinary research with an aim to address and solve next-generation problems.
  • To promote life-long learning, and to preserve academic freedom, honesty and justice.

Objectives:

  • To apply the principles of communication engineering, fundamentals of computer engineering, including the concepts of science and mathematics to solve real-life problems.
  • To design an effective curriculum for Communication and Computer Engineering that brightens the prospects of job placement opportunities as well as higher studies and ushers in significant research openings and entrepreneurial innovative breakthroughs.
  • To create state-of-the-art laboratories with industry collaboration and funded projects from the government and other sponsoring agencies.
  • To generate a strong entrepreneurial vibrant eco-system for faculty, researchers and students for the development of new products, software, services and patents.
  • To exhibit professionalism in their engineering competence, ethical values, communication skills and leadership quality.
  • To provide solutions that are technically competitive, economically feasible, socially acceptable, and law or regulatory compliance.
